The major activity for Whitefield Bowling Club is crown green bowling. Our green is noted far and wide for its quality and difficulty. We not only host our own teams that play afternoons and evenings but also support other Clubs and teams that have unfortunately lost their own greens over the last years.
We host various federation, county and league cup games and finals and we also continue to host Bury and County Ladies teams matches. We run several open competitions through the year – see our event page for specific dates.
We have beginners classes and tutorial sessions open to all; we also loan equipment and support you in understanding and getting the basics of this centuries old sport…Get exercise and meet friends.
